 2025 Summer Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program

CBC Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is based on Toastmasters’ curriculum and recreates the Toastmaster experience to foster the public speaking and leadership skills that young adults will need today to meet the demands and challenges of tomorrow (e.g. project presentations, college/job interviews and team collaboration).

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

CBC Gold and Lifetime Members ONLY - required for at least one member of the student’s family.

Incoming 7th graders through 12th graders (for Fall 2025).

Due to overwhelming demand, applicant selection priority will be based on registration date and membership seniority.

WHERE DO WE MEET:

Venue to TBD

WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD:

Five Saturdays June 7th through July 12th (No class 7/5) from 9:00 am to Noon.

GRADUATION CERTIFICATE:

You must attend at least 4 weeks of the program to receive the graduation certificate.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Early Registration is $125 until April 15th; Standard Registration after April 15th is $150 per student.

Payment online is preferred. However for those who would like to pay by check, make check payable to CBC and mail to:

Checks must be received by June 1st. Fees are non-refundable once you are accepted and confirmation letter is sent.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:

Capacity is very LIMITED.  Application must be received no later than May 15th 2025 for consideration. Please note that all spaces may have been filled prior to this date.

Registration confirmations will typically be sent via email within a week of each registration deadline (Standard Registration: May 15th).

*** Please let us know if you have not heard back from us via email by around June 1st to 3rd.

*** Applicants will be wait-listed if we reach capacity. We will notify parents by email if spaces become available. When notified, parents will have 24 hours to confirm if they would like to register.

Please note: Last day for registration cancellation and refunds is June 7th. All refunds will be charged a 4% transaction fee.
